Have your Say About Policing in North Worcestershire - Change of meeting dates
“Policing Matters” public meetings due to take place in Redditch on 17 August and in Kidderminster on 24 August respectively have been rearranged. “Policing Matters” public meetings will now be held on Wednesday 7 September 2011 at 7pm in the Gallery, Kidderminster Library and on Wednesday 28 September at 7pm in the Civic Suite, Redditch Town Hall.
Chair of the North Worcestershire Policing Board, Col. Tony Ward OBE, said “I urge people to come along and find out more about policing in their area, have their say and quiz both senior Police Officers and local Police Authority members. Following the success of our Bromsgrove meeting in June, I hope to find out more about what people think of their police service and the issues that concern them.”
The North Worcestershire Policing Board, which is made up of West Mercia Police Authority Members Col. Tony Ward OBE, Cllr Sheila Blagg and Cllr Brandon Clayton, meets regularly with the TPU Commander to monitor delivery of the West Mercia Policing Plan in North Worcestershire
