Chance to Quiz Senior Police Officers in Malvern

The public are invited to find out more about policing in Malvern Hills District, ask questions and make suggestions at a public meeting of Malvern Hills District Community Policing Matters Group. The meeting will be independently chaired by Malvern Hills resident Paul Leopold, supported by West Mercia’s Deputy Chief Constable David Shaw, Chief Inspector Jerry Reakes-Williams, Inspector Clive Griffiths and Police Authority Member Councillor Andy Roberts.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday 10th May 2011, at 7.30 pm, at Malvern St James School, 15 Avenue Road, Great Malvern, WR14 3BA. Coffee will be available from 7pm.

We hope to see many local people coming along. It’s an opportunity to discuss a wide range of policing issues with the people that can make a difference to us in Malvern Hills District.”

The meeting will include a presentation on the impact of the budget cuts on policing locally, updates from the local police and neighbourhood watch and a question and answer session. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet informally with officers at the end of the meeting.
