Consultation
The Police Authority has a legal responsibility to obtain the views of local people about matters concerning the policing of the area and also their co-operation with the police in preventing crime and anti-social behaviour. The Authority is required to take these views into account when developing policing priorities for the policing plan.
This section provides information on our consultation and community engagement activities and feedback on the results of our consultation exercises.
The Police Authority and West Mercia Police have developed a Joint Community Engagement Strategy, which sets out what each organisation is currently doing and plans to do, to achieve the joint aims and objectives.
